Get your Apple Vision Pro ready for service
Learn how to protect your information and save time before you bring in or mail your Apple Vision Pro for service.
Before you bring in your Apple Vision Pro
First, schedule an appointment if there's an Apple Store near you.
Next, follow these steps. If your device won't turn on or respond, finish as many steps as possible:
Have your Apple ID password ready. For some repairs, you'll need your Apple ID password to erase your device.
Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay and turn off Apple Cash. Then tap any payment cards that you've added, scroll to the bottom, and tap Remove Card. If your device is unresponsive, you can remove cards in a web browser: sign in to appleid.apple.com, select Devices, then select your Apple Vision Pro. Under Wallet & Apple Pay, select Remove Items.
Make sure that your device's battery has some charge before you bring it in, if possible. This will save time on your repair.
What you should bring
If you haven't already, schedule an appointment before you go to an Apple Store.
When you go, remember to bring these items:
Your Apple Vision Pro, including the Battery, USB-C Power Adapter, USB-C Charge Cable, Light Seal, Light Seal Cushion, Head Bands, Audio Straps, and ZEISS Optical Inserts if you use them. Also, remember to keep the cover on Apple Vision Pro when you bring it in.
A form of personal identification, such as a driver’s license, passport, or other government-issued ID.
Your sales receipt, if possible, in case your service requires proof of purchase.
Get your Apple Vision Pro ready to send in
