Adhesive Activation Roller Operating Manual
The adhesive activation roller is used to adhere pressure-activated adhesive on certain Apple devices during repair.
There are multiple variants of the adhesive activation roller available. These interchangeable tools ensure the correct pressure is applied when used as directed.

Important
Ensure that the roller is clean.
Use the roller to activate the adhesive when instructed in the repair procedure. Align the roller over the adhesive strip(s) as shown in the repair procedure steps. Then follow the steps below.
Using two hands, press down on the roller until the colored mark on the roller pin aligns with the white band.
Caution: Don't apply too much pressure as it can cause damage to the device.
The mark on the roller pin must remain within the white band to apply the correct amount of pressure. This will prevent damage and ensure proper adhesive activation.
Important: The roller tool (923-13515) will only roll when the correct pressure is applied.
Roll along each adhesive strip. Rolling back and forth counts as one pass. Refer to the repair procedure for the number of passes required to activate the adhesive.
