iAd Producer: Simulator does not open with Xcode 4.2.1 or earlier

The iAd Producer simulator does not open if you've installed Xcode 4.2.1 or earlier.

To resolve this issue:

  1. Locate the Xcode application. Xcode is typically installed in /Applications/Developer/Applications.

  2. Open and quit Xcode.

  3. Return to iAd Producer and open the simulator.
