document manager

The document manager is where you create, open, and manage your documents. You see the document manager when you open Pages and no document is open, and when you open the Files app.

The browse view of the document manager with a location link in the top-left corner and below it a Search field. In the row below Search are the More button; a pop-up menu to filter by name, date, size, kind, and tag; and the list or icon view button. Below these are the Create Document button, then thumbnails of existing documents. At the bottom of the screen are a Recents button and Browse button.

To go to the document manager when a document is open, tap Documents or the Documents button in the top-left corner of Pages.
