iTunes U for web supported media types
Using iTunes U you can add a variety of materials to your courses and My Materials Library. Adding materials can help you enhance your course information by providing your students with additional reading materials, examples, homework worksheets, artwork, audio and video content, and so on. Apple hosts the content you upload on Apple servers.
Keep in mind that your content is available on iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch) and to a broad worldwide audience with varying server bandwidth and performance. To ensure a good experience, consider appropriate file size and compression when encoding your content.
iTunes U does not support DRM content you upload as a file from your computer. You must have digital rights to all content you upload.
For uploaded materials and post images, the maximum file size is 2 GB.
Note: Avoid uploading files with filenames containing UTF-8, unsafe, and reserved URL characters. See RFC 1738 - Uniform Resource Locators (URL).
