Filter Messages conversations on Mac
With iMessage, you can filter Messages conversations into several categories to view just the ones you want to see.
In the Messages app
on your Mac, choose View, then select one of the following filters:All Messages: Shows all your conversations.
Known Senders: Shows conversations with your contacts and people you’ve sent messages to.
Unknown Senders: Shows conversations from people who aren’t in your contacts and who you’ve never sent a message to.
Unread Messages: Shows conversations that contain messages you haven’t viewed yet.
Recently Deleted: Shows messages or conversations you’ve deleted in the last 30 days.
If you select a filter other than All Messages, click the Back button
to view all conversations again.
