
Change General settings in Maps on Mac
In the Maps app 
 on your Mac, use General settings to customize the appearance of your maps.
To change these settings, choose Maps > Settings, then click General.

Show Weather Conditions  | Include information about weather on maps. Note: Weather information isn’t available in all countries or regions.  | ||||||||||
Show Air Quality Index (AQI)  | Show information about air quality on maps. The Air Quality Index (AQI) uses information from monitoring sites to measure the level of air pollution. AQI values range from 0-500; lower numbers indicate better air quality. Note: Air quality data isn’t available in all countries or regions.  | ||||||||||
Always show Compass  | Show the compass on the right side of the map.  | ||||||||||
Always show Zoom Controls  | Show the zoom-out and zoom-in buttons on the right side of the map.  | ||||||||||
