Beats 360 are sweat and water resistant for non-water sports and exercise, and have a rating of IPX4 under IEC standard 60529.
Beats 360 are sweat and water resistant, but they are not waterproof or sweatproof. They aren't designed for use in water sports like swimming, or for showering. After workouts, heavy sweating, or water splashes, wipe down your Beats 360 with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Don't use heat or compressed air to dry your Beats 360.
Keep your Beats 360 safe
Sweat and water resistance aren't permanent conditions and can diminish over time. Resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Beats 360 can't be rechecked or resealed for sweat or water resistance.
Follow these tips to avoid damage to your Beats 360:
Don't place your Beats 360 under running water, such as a shower or faucet.
Don't swim or bathe with your Beats 360.
Don't put Beats 360 in the washing machine or dryer.
Don't wear Beats 360 in a sauna or steam room.
Don't expose Beats 360 to pressurized water or high-velocity water, such as while water skiing, wakeboarding, surfing, or jet skiing.
Avoid dropping Beats 360 or subjecting them to other impacts.
Don't submerge your Beats 360.
Don't operate your Beats in extremely humid conditions.
Don't disassemble your Beats 360.
If your Beats 360 are exposed to liquid through any of the scenarios above:
Wipe them clean with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
Allow them to dry completely—for at least two hours—before using them. Charging when wet may damage your Beats 360.
Don't expose Beats 360 to soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, perfumes, solvents, detergent, acids or acidic foods, insect repellent, sunscreen, oil, hair dye, adhesive remover, or any liquids—for example, salt water, soapy water, and pool water. All of these can negatively affect water seals and acoustic membranes. If your Beats 360 are exposed to any of these, learn how to clean your Beats 360.
If your Beats 360 are exposed to dust, wipe them clean with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Don't use cleaning products or compressed air.
