Use dual-network debit cards with Apple Pay in Australia
In Australia, you can add eligible dual-network debit cards to use Apple Pay on eligible devices.
A dual-network debit card allows payments to be processed through the eftpos network or one of the international debit networks, Mastercard Debit or Visa Debit.
When you make a transaction in-store, the merchant chooses whether the transaction made by a dual-network debit card will be processed through the eftpos network or the international network.
Dual-network debit cards aren't available from all banks. Contact your bank for more information.
Determine if your card is a dual-network debit card
You can determine if your debit card in Wallet supports Mastercard, Visa, and eftpos networks on your iPhone and Apple Watch.
On your iPhone
Open the Wallet app.
Tap your card.
Tap the
.Tap Card Number.
On your Apple Watch
Open the Wallet app.
Select your dual-network debit card.
Tap Card Details.
After following the steps above, if you see eftpos and an international debit network, then the card is a dual-network debit card.
