How to share an Apple Music playlist on your iPhone

How to share a playlist in a message, email, social media app, or with AirDrop

  1. Open the Apple Music app.

  2. Open a playlist.

  3. Tap the Share button.

  4. In the share sheet, choose from the following:

    • Tap Messages, Mail, or third-party messaging app, enter a contact, then tap Send. If you don't see the app that you want to share to, make sure that the app is installed on your iPhone, then swipe left across the apps in the share sheet and tap the More buttonMore button.

    • Tap Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, or another social media app. If you don't see the app that you want to share to, make sure that the app is installed on your iPhone. Then swipe left across the apps in the share sheet and tap the More button.

    • Tap AirDrop, then choose an Apple device that's nearby. Learn more about AirDrop.

How to share a playlist on your Apple Music profile

If you have a profile on Apple Music, you can make a playlist public so anyone can find it when they search Apple Music.

  1. Open the Apple Music app.

  2. At the top of the Apple Music app, tap the My Account button , your photo, or initials.

  3. If you have a profile, tap Music Profile. If you don't have one, tap Set up Profile.

  4. Tap Edit.

  5. Select the playlists that you want to share on your profile and in Apple Music search results. And deselect the playlists that you want to hide.

  6. Tap the check mark at the top of the page to save your changes.
