How to find the iTunes Store in the Apple Music app on your Mac

  1. Open the Apple Music app.

  2. In the menu bar, choose Music > Settings.

  3. Click the General tab.

  4. Select iTunes Store, then click Ok.

You can find the iTunes Store in the sidebar of the Apple Music app and see the iTunes Store as an option when you use search.

How to buy music from the iTunes Store in the Apple Music app on your Mac

  1. Open the Apple Music app.

  2. In the search field, enter the song or album that you want to buy.

  3. Click the iTunes Store button in the upper-right corner. Don't see the iTunes Store?

    The Apple Music app for Mac has Browse Catergories open. In the top-right, there are options for Apple Music, Your Librery, and iTunes Store, and iTunes Store is selected.

  4. Click the price next to the song or album.

  5. Sign in with your Apple Account to complete your purchase. Need help?
