Get started with AirPods (3rd generation)
With a couple of simple actions, you can use AirPods (3rd generation) to listen to your favorite audio on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, Mac, or Apple TV in next to no time. Before you begin, make sure that your devices are up to date and Bluetooth is on.

Pair AirPods (3rd generation) with your iPhone or other device
To set up your AirPods, open the case with your AirPods inside, hold it next to your iPhone or iPad, then follow the onscreen instructions. (iOS 15.1, iPadOS 15.1, or later required.)
To connect to other devices, press and hold the setup button on the back of the AirPods case for about five seconds, or until the status light flashes white. Then go to Settings > Bluetooth, and select AirPods.

Listen to audio
Wear your AirPods, then open an audio app on your device—for example, Apple Music, the Apple TV app, or Podcasts—and play something. To change the volume, use the onscreen controls or the volume buttons on your device.

Get the right fit
Gently press AirPods in your ears and rotate toward your face. Your AirPods should feel snug and secure.

Use Siri
If your device has Siri enabled, you can use Siri with your AirPods any time your paired device is connected to the internet. Just say “Hey Siri,” or press and hold the Force Sensor on either of your AirPods, then make your request.

Turn on the Find My network
With the Find My app, you can locate your AirPods (3rd generation), when they’re lost—and with the Find My network (iOS 15.1, iPadOS 15.1, or later), you can locate them even when they're offline or aren’t nearby. To make sure the Find My network is on, go to Settings > Bluetooth on your device, tap
next to your AirPods, then scroll down.
