Charge AirPods Pro
Put AirPods Pro in their case.
Close the lid.
AirPods shut down and charge whenever they’re in the case with the lid closed.
Charge the AirPods case
To charge the case, close the lid, then do one of the following:
Charge with a cable: Connect the case to a power outlet using a Lightning to USB Cable and a compatible power adapter.
Charge Wirelessly: Place the case with the status light facing up on the center of a MagSafe wireless charger or a Qi-certified charger.
When the case is aligned properly with the charger, the status light turns on for several seconds, then turns off while continuing to charge.
Check the charge status
You can check the charge status of your AirPods Pro on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Open the case lid with your AirPods inside and hold the case close to your device. Wait a few seconds to see the charge status of your AirPods.
You can also check the charge status of your AirPods with the Batteries widget. The charge for the case appears only when at least one of your AirPods is in the case. See Add a Batteries widget to your Home Screen in the iPhone User Guide.
Mac: Open the case lid or take your AirPods Pro out of the case, and make sure they’re connected to your Mac. On your Mac, click in the menu bar, then choose your AirPods. See Connect a Bluetooth device with your Mac in the macOS User Guide.
