Profile

Each user on Apple TV app can have their own profile to get personalized recommendations, watch histories, and watchlists. There are two types of profiles on Apple TV app:

• Profiles for users with an Apple Account: When you sign in to Apple TV app you can also create and manage up to five additional profiles for other family or household members.

• Managed profile: Set up by a profile with an Apple Account, a managed profile gets its own unique name, image, watch history, recommendations, and watchlists in the Apple TV app. Profiles for kids present only age-appropriate content and search results based on the content restrictions set up by the managing profile.
