Automatic Downloads

Select to automatically download new episodes. Deselect if you don’t want any episodes to download automatically.

Continuous Play

Choose whether to automatically play the next episode or to stop playback when an episode ends.

Skip Buttons

Choose the amount of time the Skip Forward and Skip Back buttons jump in the podcast, from 10 seconds to 60 seconds.

Headphone Controls

Choose how headphone controls advance the podcast—either moving to the next/previous episode, or skipping forward/back in the same episode.

Sync follows across devices

Automatically sync any changes you make to the podcasts you follow, your stations, and current play position to every Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch where you’re signed in with the same Apple ID. See Listen to podcasts on all your devices.

If you have an iPod classic, iPod nano, or iPod shuffle, you have to sync your device with your Mac to add podcasts and other content to it. See Sync podcasts between your Mac and iPhone or iPad.

Automatically delete played episodes

Select to have Podcasts automatically delete episodes after you play them.

Show Siri Suggestions in App

Select to allow Siri to learn from and make suggestions based on your use of Podcasts.

Download episodes when saving

Select to have episodes downloaded when you save them.

Hide Played Episodes

Select to show only episodes you haven’t played.
