Use iCloud Private Relay on Mac
iCloud Private Relay (beta) is an internet privacy service that lets you connect to virtually any network and browse with Safari in an even more secure and private way. It ensures that the traffic leaving your device is encrypted and uses two separate internet relays so no one can use your IP address, location, and browsing activity to create a detailed profile about you. When you subscribe to iCloud+ you can turn on iCloud Private Relay in Apple ID iCloud preferences.
Note: iCloud Private Relay is currently in beta.

You can subscribe to iCloud+ or to Apple One, which includes iCloud+ and other services. See the Apple Support article Bundle Apple subscriptions with Apple One.

Set up iCloud Private Relay
On your Mac, choose Apple menu
, then select iCloud in the sidebar.Click Private Relay, then click Options.
If an Upgrade button appears, click it to upgrade to a storage plan that includes iCloud+.
If requested, enter your Apple ID password and click Continue.
Do any of the following:
Turn Private Relay on or off: Click the Turn On or Turn Off button.
Select an IP Address Location: To keep your general IP address location as it originally was, click Maintain General Location. To use a broader IP address location in your country and time zone, click Use Country and Time Zone.
Click OK.
Turn iCloud Private Relay on or off on your Wi-Fi or Ethernet network
When you subscribe to iCloud+ and turn on iCloud Private Relay (beta), your Wi-Fi and Ethernet network preferences are set to limit IP address tracking. You can turn the network option on or off.
Note: Some networks may not support iCloud Private Relay. iCloud Private Relay is currently in beta.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu
, then select your Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection in the sidebar.To turn iCloud Private Relay on or off, select or deselect the Limit IP Address Tracking checkbox.
