Import emails from another account into iCloud Mail
After you create a primary email address for iCloud Mail, you can import emails from another account, such as Yahoo or Outlook, into your iCloud Mail account. You can then see them in the Mail app and on iCloud.com (not available in all countries or regions).
Note: This process imports the emails currently in your other account, but it doesn’t import any emails you receive in the future. If you want to see future emails from your other account in your iCloud Mail account, set up email forwarding in the other account.
It may take several hours before you start to see imported emails. You can leave the page and the import will continue. After the import is complete, you can see the emails in a new folder named after your other email address.
Import emails on your iPhone or iPad
Your device must have iOS 17, iPadOS 17, or later.
On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
Tap iCloud Mail, then tap Import Messages.
Follow the onscreen instructions.
If you’ve imported emails before, tap Import from Another Address first.
Import emails on iCloud.com
Go to icloud.com/mail, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Select at the top of the Mailboxes list, then choose Settings.
Select Import Messages, then select Import Messages again.
Select “Choose a provider,” choose an option, then select Continue.
Follow the onscreen instructions.
If you want to import emails to your custom email address, see Import existing emails to your custom iCloud Mail address on iCloud.com.
