First steps with Fleetsmith
There are initial tasks you should do in the Fleetsmith Admin Console, like updating your tax information and setting bandwidth limits for updates to your devices:
Business and tax information: For compliance reasons, Fleetsmith is required to collect business and tax information for compliance purposes. You can submit this information through the Preferences page in the Fleetsmith Admin Console.
Bandwidth usage: Fleetsmith’s bandwidth management feature prevents updates and downloads from slowing down your network. With Fleetsmith, you have the power to control bandwidth rate limiting for your entire fleet from the Fleetsmith Admin Console.
Update your business or tax information
Note: For businesses located in the United States, the tax information field won’t be required or visible.

In the Fleetsmith Admin Console, click on your name in the sidebar, then select the Billing page.
On the billing page, click on the Company Details tab.
A field for tax information appears based on your country or region.
Make sure your contact information is correct.
Control bandwidth rate
When you turn on this option, Fleetsmith rate-limits software updates to prevent network saturation. With this setting turned on, large installers may take longer to download.
In the Fleetsmith Admin Console, click your name in the sidebar, then select the Preferences page.
Click the toggle button under Bandwidth > Fleet Settings to turn this option on or off.
