How many displays can be connected to MacBook Pro with M5 Pro chip

Depending on the resolution and refresh rate of each display, MacBook Pro models with the M5 Pro chip support up to three displays simultaneously.

MacBook Pro with M5 Pro chip

Identify your MacBook Pro model and identify its ports.

MacBook Pro models with the M5 Pro chip support up to three external displays simultaneously with the built-in display, based on the resolution and refresh rate of each external display. Closing the lid of your MacBook Pro with M5 Pro chip will not increase the number of external displays that can be supported.

Using a supported hub or daisy-chaining displays can enable up to three displays over a single Thunderbolt port, but does not increase the maximum number of displays that you can connect. Connect the display with the highest resolution first.
