Search, filter, and flag email in Mail on iCloud.com
There are many ways you can locate email messages in Mail on iCloud.com. You can search and filter mail in a mailbox or folder. You can also flag important emails.
Search for emails
You can search all messages within a mailbox or folder.
In Mail on iCloud.com, click the folder you want to search in the Mailboxes list.
Click
above the message list, type the text you want to find, then select the field you want to search in.
To exit the search and see all your messages again, click
in the search field.
Filter email
In Mail on iCloud.com, click the folder you want to filter in the Mailboxes list.
Click
above the message list. You can see the current filter next to “Filtered by.”
Do one of the following:
Change the filter: Click the current filter. In the pop-up menu, choose the filter or filters you want to use.
Stop filtering messages: Click the Filter Messages button again.
Flag important emails
Flagged messages are displayed with a flag icon . You can filter messages in a folder to show only those that are flagged.
In Mail on iCloud.com, select the message or messages you want to flag in the message list.
Do one of the following:
If you selected one message: Click
at the top right, then click Flag.
If you selected multiple messages: Click Mark, then click “Flag [number] messages.”
