Choose the screen layout for Assistive Access on iPad
On iPad, you can customize Assistive Access to display onscreen items in a row layout that makes it easier to read items in a list, or a large grid that emphasizes images and icons. You can choose a row or grid layout when you set up Assistive Access, or anytime after.
Choose a screen layout
Exit Assistive Access if it’s active.
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Assistive Access, then choose Rows or Grid.
Tip: Other Assistive Access features, such as options to send messages using only emoji or as video selfies, can be useful for people who prefer visual alternatives to text. See Set up Messages for Assistive Access.
