Role management in Apple School Manager
Every Apple School Manager account has one or more roles that define what the user of the account can do. Certain roles can manage other roles. For example, an account that has the role of Instructor can act on an account that has the role of Student. In this way, an instructor can change a student’s passcode.
Important: If an account with a role of Administrator, Manager, or Instructor is also assigned a Student role, they will be unable to buy content.
