Beats Studio Pro USB-C audio and EQ-optimized sound profiles
The USB-C cable that comes with your Beats Studio Pro enables EQ-optimized sound profiles and lets you charge your headphones while you listen to audio or stream lossless audio.
Enable EQ-optimized sound profiles
When you connect the USB-C cable to your Beats Studio Pro and an iPad that has a USB-C port, a Mac that has a USB-C port, or an iPhone that has a Lightning port and the USB-C to Lightning Adapter, you can use the system button on the right ear cup to switch between three EQ-optimized sound profiles: Beats Signature, Entertainment, and Conversation. When the USB-C cable is connected to your Beats Studio Pro, Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode are disabled.
To switch between sound profiles, press the system button twice. When you switch between sound profiles, a chime plays.
Beats Signature
Beats Signature offers the most tonally balanced tuning of the three sound profiles, and is well-suited to all genres of music. When Beats Signature is enabled, one LED light on the right ear cup turns on.
Entertainment
The Entertainment sound profile boosts select frequencies for movies and games. When Entertainment is enabled, two LED lights on the right ear cup turn on.
Conversation
The Conversation sound profile optimizes frequencies for voice by removing bass, which makes it ideal for phone calls or podcasts. When Conversation is enabled, three LED lights on the right ear cup turn on.
Listen and charge at the same time
When you connect the USB-C cable to your Beats Studio Pro and an iPad that has a USB-C port, a Mac that has a USB-C port, or an iPhone that has a Lightning port and the USB-C to Lightning Adapter, you can listen to audio, including lossless audio, while you charge your Beats Studio Pro.
