Upgrade memory on your Mac
If your Mac comes with configurable memory slots—such as some models of Mac Mini, iMac, or Mac Pro—System Information provides a simple diagram of the memory slots that are in use or available to configure, and easy access to instructions about how to upgrade the memory.
Choose Apple menu
> About this Mac, then click Memory.For instructions on how to upgrade or add memory, click Memory Upgrade Instructions.
