Problems with notifications in Schoolwork
If you have trouble with notifications in the Schoolwork app , try these suggestions.
If a student receives a notification indicating an app is not installed on their device, and they can’t install the app themselves, they might be using an organization-owned device enrolled in a mobile device management (MDM) service. To install the app, contact your school’s IT administrator.
If notifications are allowed for Schoolwork (Go to Settings > Notifications > Schoolwork, then tap Allow Notifications), Schoolwork sends you notifications when assignments or assessments are due and ready to review, when a student completes an activity, and when a student sends you a revision. Schoolwork sends students notifications when you send a new assignment or assessment or ask a student to try an activity again, as well as daily and weekly assignment and assessments summaries. Schoolwork also sends students notifications when an app activity is automatically marked as Done. If you or your students aren’t receiving notifications, confirm Allow Notifications is selected for Schoolwork. If you can’t tap Allow Notifications, the setting is controlled by your school and you must contact your school’s IT administrator.
