Search your Clipboard history in Spotlight on Mac

You can use Spotlight to search your Clipboard history.

On your Mac, press Command-Space bar to open Spotlight.
Press Command-4 or click to the right of the search field.
Note: When you first search your Clipboard, you may be asked if you want to allow search results from the Clipboard. Click Allow. Sensitive information may appear on the Clipboard.
Do any of the following:
- Search your Clipboard history: Enter what you’re looking for in the search field.
- Copy from your Clipboard: Click to the right of the item, or select the item and press Command-C.
  To paste the item, click where you want it to appear, then press Command-V.
- Erase your Clipboard history: Click to the right of the search field, then choose Clear History.
