Here's what everyone needs
Start a SharePlay session in the Apple Music app
- Open the Apple Music app.
- Touch and hold a song, album, or playlist, then tap SharePlay.
- In the screen that appears, enter the contacts that you want to call.
- Tap FaceTime to start FaceTime video. Or tap the audio button
to start FaceTime audio. - At the top of the Apple Music app, tap Start next to the music that you want to play.
Take turns playing music with a shared queue
- Start or join a SharePlay music session in a FaceTime call.
- Open the Apple Music app.
- Touch and hold a song or album, then choose when you want it to play:
- Tap Play Next to play your selection right after the song that's playing.
- Tap Play Later to add your selection to the end of the music queue.
Reorder and remove songs from a shared queue
- While in a SharePlay music session, open the Apple Music app.
- Tap the song that's playing at the bottom of the screen.
- In the lower-right corner of the music player, tap Playing Next
. From the Playing Next screen, everyone can:- Reorder music in the queue: Drag the three lines
next to a song up or down. - Remove a song: Swipe left over a song, then tap Remove.

Control playback and follow along with time-synced lyrics
- Swipe up from the bottom edge of the FaceTime call.
- Open the Apple Music app.
- Tap the song that's playing at the bottom of the screen. From here, everyone can:
- Play, pause, skip songs, and control playback.
- See time-synced lyrics for a song that's playing by tapping Lyrics
in the lower-left corner of the player.
End SharePlay
- At the top of the FaceTime call, tap SharePlay
. - Tap End SharePlay.
- Tap End for Everyone or End Only for Me.
