iPhone Air Screws

This section shows the screw diagrams, screws, and torque drivers for iPhone Air.

Warning

  • Never reinstall a screw after it has been removed. Install only new screws. iPhone screws are covered with an adhesive that can’t be reused. Discard screws according to your local recycling guidelines.

  • Use only the torque driver indicated to install new screws during reassembly. Both overtightened screws and loose screws can damage parts.

Screw diagrams

Screw diagrams show the screws contained in each screw tray. A screw tray includes all the new screws needed for each repair. Screw diagrams show you where the new screws in each repair procedure should be installed and which torque drivers and bits to use. Screw diagrams also appear in individual repair articles.

1A super screw has a threaded hole that holds another screw.

Torque drivers

Note: You can use any torque driver to remove screws.

Use the black torque driver (0.35 kgf cm) for screws outlined in black.

Use the green torque driver (0.45 kgf cm) for screws outlined in green.

Use the gray torque driver (0.55 kgf cm) for screws outlined in gray.

Use the blue torque driver (0.65 kgf cm) for screws outlined in blue.

Use the teal torque driver (0.75 kgf cm) for screws outlined in teal.

Use the orange torque driver (0.85 kgf cm) for screws outlined in orange.

Use the adjustable torque driver (10–34 Ncm) for screws outlined in black/green.
