What’s new in Shortcuts 12.3 for Mac
General
Notifications can now be turned off for Automations (when Ask Before Running is turned off).
Reminder app tags are now supported in the Add New Reminder, Find Reminders, and Edit Reminder actions.
The Get Current Web Page from Safari action now supports retrieving details like name, page contents, and selection.
The Set Playback Destination action now supports adding and removing playback destinations, so you can play to multiple devices at once.
The Translate Text and Detect Language actions are now powered by Apple Translate.
The Take Photo action is now supported.
The Extract Text from Image action now supports all languages supported by Live Text.
The End If and End Repeat actions can now be dragged in the shortcut editor.
The Find and Filter actions have an improved design.
Double-clicking an item in the Choose From List action now chooses the item, and the shortcut continues running.
You can now add a shortcut to the Dock from the Control-click menu in My Shortcuts.

Scripting
The list of shortcuts now loads faster in third-party Mac apps, especially for users with many shortcuts.
The Shortcuts Events app, which provides scripting functionality for Shortcuts, no longer needs to be opened manually before it can be used from scripts.
When retrieving shortcuts via AppleScript, shortcuts are returned in the user's order instead of in alphabetical order.
Additional improvements
The Run Shortcut action is now faster and more reliable.
The Combine Images action no longer produces empty images.
The Overlay Image action now uses coordinates anchored to the bottom-left of the image instead of the top-left.
The Open URL action is more reliable when run from Apple Watch.
The Show in Calendar action now supports showing specific dates, in addition to calendar events.
The Edit Calendar Events action is more reliable when adding attachments.
The Show Web Page action now includes Cancel and Done buttons.
The Send Message action now supports photo attachments when run from Siri.
The Open App action now supports launching CarPlay-capable apps in CarPlay.
The Set Volume action now supports AirPods that are connected to a Mac.
The Send Email action now supports selecting an account to send the email from.
The Split Screen Apps action is now more reliable when the apps are not already open.
