See a before-and-after comparison

After you use a tool to make adjustments to an image, you can see a before-and-after comparison of the original image and the modified image.

At the bottom of the tool pane, do any of the following:

  • See the “before” version (without the new adjustment): Click and hold the Compare button . To return to the “after” version, release .

  • See a side-by side comparison: Option-click the Compare button. Drag the vertical divider to see more or less of each version. To return to the “after” version, click The compare divider button.
