Note Pad in GarageBand on Mac
You can create, view, and edit notes for a project in the Note Pad. You can type text notes, and add images by dragging them into the Project Text area. Each project can contain one set of notes.
Tip: With Apple Intelligence, you can use Writing Tools to proofread, rewrite, and summarize selected text in the Note Pad. Select the text you want to work with, then click the Writing Tools button

Note: Apple Intelligence is available in beta on Mac models with M1 or later with support for the following languages: English, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese. Some features may not be available in all languages or regions. Text area: View and edit project notes in the Text area.
Writing Tools button: Use to access Writing Tools that you can use to proofread, rewrite, or summarize selected text in the Text area.
Note: The Writing Tools button is dimmed when Apple Intelligence is not available or has not been activated on your Mac.
Open the Note Pad
Click the Note Pad button
in the control bar.Choose View > Show Note Pad.
Add or edit notes
Do any of the following:
Enter text in the Text area.
To format text: Select the text in the Text area, then click the Fonts button and apply formatting from the Fonts window to the selected text.
To add an image: Drag an image from the Finder to the Text area.
To access Apple Intelligence features: Click the Writing Tools button.
