Use Intelligent Breakthrough & Silencing with Do Not Disturb in iOS 18.1
In iOS 18.1 with iPhone 16 or an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and later Pro models, you can use Apple Intelligence-powered Focus settings that include Intelligent Breakthrough. Intelligent Breakthrough understands the content of your notifications. When you turn on Intelligent Breakthrough, the feature intelligently allows important notifications to interrupt you and silences any notifications not determined to be important. Any notifications that you specifically allow or silence will still be allowed or silenced.
To turn Intelligent Breakthrough on:
In the Settings app, tap Focus.
Tap the Focus setting you want to check for Intelligent Breakthrough.
Toggle Intelligence Breakthrough on or off.
To use Apple Intelligence features on your iPhone, you need an iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, or iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple Intelligence is available in beta starting with iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1 when your device language and Siri language are set to the same supported language.
