View your progress in Schoolwork
If your school enabled the student progress feature and you use your school account to work on activities your teacher assigned in a Handout, all available progress data is shared with you and your teacher. When viewing your progress, you can see:
Total progress in a class in your class view. This view displays how you’re doing across all Handout activities in a class.
Overall progress on a Handout in the Handout details view. This view displays how you’re doing across activities in a selected Handout.
When you view progress in the Handout details view, if progress reporting is not enabled, Schoolwork displays progress as N/A for any progress-reporting app activities and includes a message in your student pop-up pane.
Using the data in the class view and Handout details view, you can see how you’re doing on your activities and decide if you need to reach out to your teacher for extra challenges or attention.
Note: Progress data doesn’t appear instantaneously. Schoolwork takes time to process data before displaying it in the Handout details view and class view.
View your progress in a class
In the Schoolwork app
, tap a class in the sidebar:Do one of the following:
To view your remaining Handouts, tap Due.
To see your submitted and completed Handouts, tap Done.
View your progress on a Handout
In the Schoolwork app
, do one of the following in the sidebar:Tap Recents, then tap a Handout.
Tap a class, tap Due, then tap a Handout in Due Today or Due Next.
Tap a class, tap Done, then tap a Handout.
Schoolwork displays your progress data details, submitted before or after the due date.
To see progress data for a specific activity, tap an activity on the left.
To see more details, tap the progress data for an individual activity on the right, submitted before or after the due date.
View any late progress
When you submit work after a Handout due date (11:59 p.m. local time on the due date), Schoolwork displays the progress data but indicates the work was late.
For apps that report time and progress percentage, late data includes the progress you made across all your attempts before and after the due date.
In the Schoolwork app
, do one of the following in the sidebar:Tap Recents.
Tap a class, then tap Done.
Tap a Handout, then tap an activity to view the progress data reported after the due date.
Tap Late Data to view specific progress data details reported after the due date (available for progress-reporting apps only).
