Change Pages settings on Mac
Options in Settings affect how Pages behaves, and they apply to all of your Pages documents.
Open Pages settings
Choose Pages > Settings (from the Pages menu at the top of your screen).
To see each group of settings, click General, Rulers, or Auto-Correction at the top of the window.
Many settings are part of the system settings for your Mac, rather than Pages settings. For example, to change some language settings in macOS 13 or later, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Keyboard in the sidebar. (In macOS 12 or earlier, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Keyboard.)
You can change some settings, such as automatic spelling correction, in three places: in System Settings (or System Preferences) for spelling correction in all apps; in Pages settings for all Pages documents; and in the Edit menu for the current document.
