If you need to change or update your Apple Account payment method

Payment information that you use for Apple media purchases and subscriptions might be automatically updated by your financial institution. Learn how to edit your payment method manually.

Update your payment method on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro

1. In Settings, tap your name.

2. Tap Payment & Shipping. You might be asked to sign in to your Apple Account.

3. If you need to update the billing information of an existing card, tap the payment method, then tap Edit.

4. Enter your new billing information, then tap the Done button.

If there's an issue, change your payment method

1. In Settings, tap your name.

2. Tap Payment & Shipping. You might be asked to sign in to your Apple Account.

3. Tap Add Payment Method, enter the new payment method, then tap Done.

4. Tap Edit.

5. Tap the red delete button next to the old payment method, then tap Remove.

6. If you want, you can then re-add the old payment method with updated billing information.

Update your payment method on your Mac

1. In the App Store, click your name in the sidebar. Or, click the sign-in button and sign in to your Apple Account, then click your name in the sidebar.

2. Click Account Settings. You might be asked to sign in to your Apple Account.

3. Click Payment Methods.

4. If you need to update the billing information of an existing card, click the payment method, then click Edit.

5. Enter your new billing information, then click Done.

1. In the App Store, click your name in the sidebar. Or, click the sign-in button and sign in to your Apple Account, then click your name in the sidebar.

2. Click Account Settings. You might be asked to sign in to your Apple Account.

3. Click Payment Methods.

5. Click Edit.

2. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then click View My Account. You might need to sign in to your Apple Account first. (If you have iTunes for Windows, use the menu bar to choose Account, then select View My Account.)

   

3. Next to Payment Information, click Manage Payments.

4. If you need to update the billing information of an existing card, click Edit next to the payment method.

5. Enter your new billing information, then click Done.
