Removal
Place the enclosure in the repair tray with the Lightning connector facing the cutout.
Put on the gloves to prevent contamination of the camera lenses.
Gently hold the two TrueDepth camera flex cables together and lift the camera away from the lip of the enclosure. Then slide the TrueDepth camera to the left to remove it.
Reassembly
Put on the gloves to prevent contamination of the TrueDepth camera lenses.
Inspect the TrueDepth camera assembly to ensure that the grounding foam and grounding springs are intact. If either of these is missing or damaged, replace the TrueDepth camera assembly.
Tilt the top edge of the TrueDepth camera assembly under the lip of the enclosure as shown. Lower the camera into the enclosure. Then slide the tab on the right side of the TrueDepth camera under the camera cowling. Use the black stick or your finger to adjust the alignment.
Caution: Ensure that the top edge of the TrueDepth camera is positioned under the lip of the enclosure.
Important: The camera cowling for your model may not be in place at this point. In this case, center the outer edges of the TrueDepth camera between the sides of the enclosure.
Follow reassembly steps 3 through 13 in Top Speaker or 3 through 20 in Top Speaker (mmWave Antenna). Then continue to step 5.
