Join a StorNext Network

You can configure Xsan 4 and later clients to join a StorNext storage area network (SAN). Just create an Xsan configuration profile that’s specific to your StorNext SAN.

To create a configuration profile for your StorNext SAN, use the make_profile tool on your StorNext metadata controller (MDC). For detailed instructions, see the StorNext installation guide for your version of StorNext.
