Print headers and footers in TextEdit on Mac
You can include a document’s title, date, and time (in the header) and page numbers (in the footer) when you print a TextEdit document.
In the TextEdit app
on your Mac, choose File > Print, then select “Print header and footer” in the TextEdit section.Click Print.
Note: Headers and footers appear only on printed pages, not on the screen.
