Turn off Screen Time on your Mac
If you no longer want to track your app and device usage on your Mac, you can turn off App & Website Activity in Screen Time settings. You can turn it off for yourself or for a child you manage.
Turn off App & Website Activity for yourself
Go to the System Settings app
on your Mac.
Click Screen Time
in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
If you’re using Family Sharing, click the Family Member pop-up menu, then choose yourself.
Scroll down, then turn off App & Website Activity.
After you turn it off, you can no longer track your app and device usage, notifications, or pickups, or set up downtime or app limits.
Turn off App & Website Activity for a child
Go to the System Settings app
on your Mac.
Click Screen Time
in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Click the Family Member pop-up menu, then choose a family member.
If you don’t see the Family Member pop-up menu, make sure you’re sign in to your Apple Account and using Family Sharing.
Scroll down, click Manage Screen Time, then turn off App & Website Activity.
After you turn it off, you can no longer track your child’s app and device usage, notifications, or pickups, or set up downtime or app limits.
Tip: If you no longer want access to your child’s Screen Time settings, turn off Screen Time Family Sharing.
