About the Apple Music family subscription
Each member of an Apple Music family subscription gets unlimited access to the Apple Music catalog. And each family member gets their own personal music library, and music recommendations based on what they love to listen to. Just set up Family Sharing, then invite people to join your family group. Get a family subscription
Already subscribe to Apple Music? Learn how to change to a family subscription. If you're new to Apple Music, follow the steps below to sign up for a family subscription.
Open the Music app
On your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or Android device, open the Music app. On your PC, open iTunes for Windows. Then go to For You.
Start a trial, then choose Family
Tap or click the trial offer, (One trial per person or family), choose Family, then tap or click Start Trial.
Sign in with your Apple ID
Sign in with the Apple ID and password that you use to make purchases. If you don’t have an Apple ID, tap or click Create New Apple ID, then follow the steps to create one.

If you're asked for a verification code, you have two-factor authentication set up for your Apple ID. Learn about two-factor authentication and what to do if you still can’t sign in.
Confirm your billing information
If asked, confirm your billing information and add a valid payment method. Then tap or click Join.
If prompted, agree to the terms and conditions.
Invite your family to start listening
If you already set up Family Sharing, everyone in your family group will automatically have access to Apple Music.
If someone in the family group already has an individual or student subscription to Apple Music, renewal of that subscription is automatically canceled when they join the family group.
