iPod nano (6th generation or later): Turn on VoiceOver

If you turn on VoiceOver for iPod nano (6th generation or later), you can hear the names of songs, artists, and playlists spoken when you listen to content on your iPod nano. If you have the Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic, you can also use VoiceOver to navigate your playlists.

You can turn VoiceOver on in iTunes or in Settings on your iPod. In iTunes, you can turn on Voiceover when you set up your iPod or from the Summary tab for iPod settings.

Turn on VoiceOver on iPod nano (6th generation or later)

  1. Tap Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver and turn VoiceOver on.

  2. Tap OK to confirm that you want to turn on VoiceOver.

Turn on VoiceOver in iTunes

  1. In the iPod Summary tab, click Configure Accessibility.

  2. 
On the Accessibility dialog, select Use VoiceOver.

  3. Click Apply in the Summary tab.
