Xsan 2: Xsan Admin displays an authentication alert if HTTPS proxy is used
When using Xsan Admin on a Mac that has been configured to use an HTTPS proxy, you may encounter unexpected authentication issues when connecting to Xsan systems. The following alert may appear: "Authentication failures occurred. Not all clients were successfully authenticated."
Use one of the following workarounds:
Bypass the HTTPS proxy
Configure the system running Xsan Admin to bypass the HTTPS proxy for all Xsan systems by adding a wildcard IP range.
In the Network preferences pane, click Advanced, then click the Proxies tab.
In the Bypass text field, enter an IP address with a wildcard character (*), such as 10.100.1.*
Click OK.
Configure the HTTPS proxy to allow Xsan
On the proxy server or device, configure the HTTPS proxy so Xsan Admin can connect to Xsan systems through the proxy.
Disable the HTTPS proxy
In the Network preferences pane, click Advanced, then click the Proxies tab.
Deselect HTTPS.
Click OK.
