Out-of-warranty service
Service is considered out of warranty when:
- Your Apple Watch is beyond the eligible warranty term or consumer law coverage period
- Your Apple Watch has an issue that’s not covered under warranty or consumer law, like accidental damage or damage caused by unauthorized modifications
We might be able to fix or replace your Apple Watch for an out-of-warranty fee. Your replacement Apple Watch will have factory settings and will be new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability. The Apple Limited Warranty is in addition to rights provided by consumer law.
Battery service
If your battery has a manufacturing defect and it's covered by the Apple Limited Warranty or consumer law, we'll service your Apple Watch at no additional cost. Our warranty doesn’t cover batteries that wear down from normal use.
We might need to test your product to find the cause of your battery issue. If your Apple Watch isn't covered, we can service or replace it for a fee.

Screen damage
If your Apple Watch screen breaks accidentally, you might have the option to replace your Apple Watch for a fee. The Apple warranty doesn’t cover damage caused by accident or abuse. If your screen cracks due to a manufacturing defect, it’s covered by the Apple warranty and consumer law.
Apple accessories
Apple-branded accessories are covered by our warranty and consumer law. Contact Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider for service details.
We can help with returns or exchanges of third-party accessories that you bought from Apple. For service or support, contact the accessory manufacturer.

When you receive your Apple Watch, set it up the same way you’d set up a new Apple Watch.
We guarantee our service, including replacement parts, for 90 days or the remaining term of your Apple warranty, whichever is longer. We offer this when you get service from us or from an Apple Authorized Service Provider. This is in addition to rights provided by consumer law.
