Use VoiceOver while sharing your screen with another Mac
You can use VoiceOver when you’re controlling another Mac in Apple Remote Desktop or the Screen Sharing app. When you use VoiceOver while sharing your screen, VoiceOver is temporarily enabled on the remote device—its original settings are restored when screen sharing ends. By default, VoiceOver won’t make sounds or show visuals on the remote device, and VoiceOver also changes its pitch so that you can tell whether you’re interacting with the remote device or your local device.
If you’re using VoiceOver on your local device, you’ll automatically be prompted to enable Accessibility settings on the remote device when screen sharing begins. After it’s enabled, use VoiceOver to navigate to the shared screen, then interact with it just like you’d interact with a table or group by pressing VO+Shift+Down Arrow.
Note: You can make changes to your accessibility settings at any time: Choose View, then choose Accessibility.
