If your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV is repaired or replaced

Before you send in or bring in an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV to be repaired, unassign it from your MDM server in Apple School Manager or unassign it from your MDM server in Apple Business Manager. If you don't, it might be returned to you without being repaired. You can reassign the device to your MDM server after it's repaired.

If Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider replaces an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV enrolled in Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager, the replacement will usually appear in Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager within 2 hours. You can assign the replacement to your MDM server.

If your Mac is repaired
