Before You Begin

Tools

Refer to a full list of tools required for all repairs.

Important

Order the correct color enclosure for the iPhone.

Removal

1. Follow the logic board removal process.

   • Note: The logic board, back glass, top speaker, and front camera will be transferred to the new enclosure.

2. Follow the camera removal process.

3. Follow the display removal process.

   • Note: The display will be transferred to the new enclosure.

Reassembly

Warning

It’s recommended to only install new batteries. Used battery cells can become damaged during the removal process. Read Battery Safety to learn more.

Caution

Use tweezers to transfer and place two grounding springs into the new enclosure.

1. Follow the logic board reassembly procedure steps 1 through 14.

2. Follow the battery reassembly procedure.

3. Follow the camera reassembly procedure.

4. Follow the back glass reassembly procedure.

5. Follow the display reassembly procedure.
