About the Apple Business app

The Apple Business app is a free app you can use to get the apps and support you need for your company. The app is automatically installed on devices managed by the built-in device management service in Apple Business. Some features within the Apple Business app are limited until an organization verifies enrollment.
Directory
If your organization is using email with Apple Business, the Directory tab gives you access to your company directory. This service allows you to search for and communicate with your colleagues, use caller ID to see who from your organization is calling or messaging you, and update your employee profile with your preferred name, pronouns, and work email.
Apps
The Apps tab shows you all of the apps that are assigned to you by your company. Apps can come from the App Store (iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro) or directly from your company (Mac only). To install an assigned app from the App Store, tap or click the . You won't be charged for downloading or purchasing these apps. When you use Apple Business to install apps, your company can update or remove them. Mac apps assigned to you directly from your company are automatically installed and cannot be removed by your company. If you want to delete an app assigned by your company, you can delete it manually.
Devices
The Devices tab shows you all of your devices that are managed by Apple Business with an active AppleCare+ for Business plan, as well as their current AppleCare service and support coverage.
If you have a device covered by AppleCare+ for Business, you can submit a repair request, track the status of your repair, or cancel your repair request in the Devices tab.
If you see 'Sign-In Required'
If you install the Apple Business app from the App Store or sign out on your device, you'll see a message that sign-in is required. To use the Apple Business app, sign in to your Managed Apple Account on your device, then you can see the features enabled by your organization.
