If Maps continues to show a place that you don't recognize

You can clear your search history and review your Favorites if Maps often suggests places that you haven't tried to visit.

Remove a place from your Favorites in Maps on your iPhone

1. In the Maps app, tap the arrow to return to your current location.

2. Swipe up to open the Search menu.

3. Tap More next to Favorites.

4. Find the location that you want to remove and swipe left.

5. Tap Remove or Delete.

Remove a place from your search history in Maps

1. In the Maps app, swipe up to open the Search menu.

2. Tap More next to Recents or Recently Viewed.

3. Find the place that you want to remove, then swipe left.

4. Tap Remove or Delete.

5. Close and restart the Maps app.
