A message from a teacher to a student. A Handout can include announcements, reminders, instructions, assigned activities or requests for work. Handouts consist of a list of recipients (an entire class or one or more students in a class), a name, one or more activities and instructions. A recipient and name are required; all other information is optional. You can also specify a Handout deadline. If you add a deadline, any activities or work that a student submits after the deadline are late. Schoolwork automatically sets deadlines to 23:59 local time for the specified day.
Teachers can post a Handout or save a Handout as a draft until they are ready to post it later.
