Get help for Logic Remote on iPad
Logic Remote provides several ways for you to get answers to questions, learn about controls and functions while you’re working, and view detailed information about all aspects of Logic Remote and MainStage.
Coaching tips: Contain helpful information about the current view. You can continue to use all controls while coaching tips are visible.
Logic Remote Help: Provides detailed information about using Logic Remote on your device.
Smart Help: Provides detailed information about the MainStage interface, commands and menus, and gives step-by-step instructions for using MainStage on your Mac.
Quick Help: Refers to the Quick Help feature in MainStage, where you move the pointer over an interface item in MainStage to show its name and function, without leaving the application or interrupting your workflow. You can use Quick Help together with Smart Help.
Show coaching tips
Tap the Settings button in the control bar, then tap Coaching Tips.
Tap Coaching Tips again to hide coaching tips.
Open Logic Remote Help
Tap the Settings button in the control bar, then tap Help.
Use Smart Help
Tap the View button in the control bar, then tap Smart Help.
Tap the Lock button in the control bar to lock the Help book.
When the Help book is locked, you can view detailed information on your iPad about the MainStage interface, and get step-by step instructions for using MainStage on your Mac.
Use Smart Help together with Quick Help
In Logic Remote, tap the View button in the control bar, then tap Smart Help.
Make sure the Help book is unlocked .
In MainStage, choose Help > Quick Help.
In MainStage, move the pointer over an interface item to show its name and function in the Quick Help area.
